WIQ T-shirt 13 - Perthshire

The highlands of Perthshire are home to some of the most iconic rivers in Scotland mostly known for their salmon fishing or the properties they bestow upon the whisky that's made with them.
For me, they represent perfect summer days spent cooling off under the cascading waterfalls, exploring the crystal clear pools and soaring off of the soft, smooth rocks that bank them.
This location is somewhere that I have visited almost every summer since I can remember. The clear blue water meanders and occasionally crashes through picturesque glen only a stone's throw from the main road that connects the highlands of Scotland.

This river has two sides to offer so I have added two locations to this t-shirt. The first side of this location is the calm sandy banked deep pools that offer a perfect place to relax, enjoy the sun and have a paddle.
The second side of this is its high rocks and crashing waterfalls. These offer the perfect opportunity for anyone seeking a thrill. Loads of jumping points, smooth rock that act as natural slides and waterfalls that you can float down at the right angle all make this one of my favourite swimming spots in Scotland.

Estimated walking time: 2 - 20 minutes depending on which location you aim for.

Difficulty: Easy to medium - some areas are hard to reach and rocks are very slippery when wet.
